ChaCha vs. Kgb ?

I'm sure many of you have recently seen commercials in your area for one or the other.

These companies are cell-phone text based answering companies, where people text a question to their number and after a few minutes it is answered, also via text.

So far these have been a pretty viable source of additional income for me, and yes, I work for both. I can do this because both require me to be an independent contractor for them, and I am not employed by them technically.

I'm one of the people who answer the questions through web research. It adds a human element to question asking.

1. How well do they pay?

ChaCha- ChaCha pays based on the type of question you answer. Depending on the topic of the question it can range from 10-14 cents per question answered.

Kgb- Kgb pays based on questions answered, any type. The pay is 10cents for every question you seek and 5cents for every question that you send from the database.

2. How do you receive payment?

ChaCha- They offer two styles, you can sign up for a visa card that they deposit the money to (any time you want with a small fee), or you can be paid once a month into your checking account. The downfall to ChaCha is that you have to earn $100 if you want to do the checking option. The credit card option does require you to submit a form at their online bank but you can choose "pay me now" anytime you want with a small fee.

Kgb- They offer one style of payment. Once a month to your checking account. The minimum that you have to have earned is only $40 before your total balance is deposited.

3. Which can you make more money with?

It is personal preference, and it all depends on HOW you want to work. With ChaCha, traffic can be slower due to many answerers being online, and less traffic from customers. You can technically earn more with ChaCha if they are busy and you have fast hands.
KGB seems to be more of consistent good money, they seem to always be busy and you have the option of answering questions within 10 seconds if they are in the database already.

4. How much do I make personally with both?

ChaCha pays the 16th to the 15th of each month. Since July 16th I'm at: 88.70, I may not make the August 15th deadline to get my $100 because traffic is very slow.

KGB pays the third thursday of every month (August 20th), and so far I have earned: 69.40. This means I am for sure getting paid, plus I have a lot of room to go until the 20th. Plus I started KGB at the end of July.

5. Overall capacity to make money online with these 2 services?

With Kgb I can make around $5 and hour, and with ChaCha 0-3.50 depending on the traffic. Either way this isn't a bad source of residual income, and if you are out of work right now it could be used to pay the bills.

6. So which should it be?

For me KGB is the way to go, but right now I'm doing both at once until I hit my $100 with ChaCha. I'll probably be dropping them after I achieve that due to 3 weeks of horrible traffic, with no end in sight.
